The Troyo Residence redefines urban living with its innovative approach, blending modern architectural aesthetics with elements of nature. Designed for a family of three, this triplex residence is located in the Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhaka, Bangladesh, on a compact 5 Katha (3,600 sq. ft.) plot. The design aims to bring the tranquility of nature into a dense urban environment.

The ground floor serves as a functional base, accommodating parking, a welcoming reception lobby, lift, staircase, and other essential facilities.

​

Moving up to the 1st floor, the home opens into a grand double-height formal living space paired with an open kitchen and a double-height dining area, creating a sense of openness and fluidity. Adjacent to these spaces lies a large, double-height green terrace, a lush oasis that brings the outdoors in. Above this terrace, a translucent glass ceiling introduces natural light while offering a view of the swimming pool water from above.

The 2nd floor is an extension of this openness, connecting to the family living area through a stunning sculptural staircase. The family living area enjoys vistas of the double-height spaces below, enhancing connectivity between floors. This level also houses two bedrooms, each with an attached bathroom, and an additional common toilet for convenience.

An internal staircase leads to the 3rd floor, a retreat for relaxation and recreation. Here, the swimming pool takes center stage, complemented by a gym, spa, BBQ space, and an open rooftop adorned with lush green lawns. This floor offers an escape from urban chaos, bringing the essence of a jungle to the heart of the home.
