HBFC office rooftop
Location : Mohammadpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Located atop the House Building Finance Corporation (HBFC) office building at 19-B/4-C Ring Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka, the 7,000 sq. ft. open rooftop is envisioned as a modern, multifunctional outdoor space. Designed to provide a balance of relaxation and productivity, the landscape reflects HBFC’s commitment to fostering an environment of well-being and sustainability for its employees and visitors.
Design Concept
The rooftop design harmonizes greenery with functionality, creating a welcoming space that serves as an extension of the office environment. By integrating nature-inspired elements, seating zones, and recreational facilities, the design transforms the rooftop into an urban retreat within the bustling city of Dhaka.
Key Design Features
Green Spaces:
Landscaped Gardens: Large planters with native and ornamental plants bring natural beauty to the rooftop, creating a calming atmosphere.
Vertical Green Walls: Strategically placed green walls enhance aesthetics while improving air quality and providing shade.
Open Lawn Area: A small, manicured lawn adds versatility, suitable for informal gatherings or relaxation.
Seating Zones:
Comfortable seating options include benches, lounge chairs, and shaded pergolas to accommodate casual meetings or solitary breaks.
